Dhoti or Kerala Mundu with half inch kasavu for men

Veshty, also known as Mundu is the traditional dress of Kerala men. This four metres long cotton cloth with golden kasavu on the border is one of the most casual and traditional dresses of Kerala. Some parts of Kerala people call it "veshty" or Dhoti.

Mundu is normally doubled and tucked around the waist. Out side Kerala, Malayalee men usually wear it on formal occasions whereas in God's own country, it is still the favourite attire. Some temples in Kerala only allow men if they wear a mundu.
