First Quality Ear chain/Matti set (also known as Mattil or Mattal)
Unlike the real temple jewelry which is silver based and light weight, the first quality jewelry is copper based and slightly heavier. This exquisite gold-plated and handmade jewelry is adorned with authentic purple kemp and cubic zirconium stones .
It is worn by attaching earrings or Jhumka (Jimikki) to the bottom rings and hooking the top end to the hair a few inches above the ear.
Designed to match with Bharatanatyam temple jewelry. This mattil can also be used for Kuchipudi dance performance.
