Nattuvankam thaalam - for Indian dance practice

Pair of talams consists of two cymbolsmade of different kinds of metal alloys. Out of the two, the larger cymbol which produces the bass sound is made of Iron and the small one, made of brass, produces the treble sound.

The weight of both pieces together is about 10Oz (more than half pound).

    Bought 2 over the period of last 5 years. Same quality. After couple years, both of them, the thread started coming loose at the end. If some one can re-tie it the product will last more. May be over use?

    I received this on the 4th day of ordering. I read some commends and was was little skeptical. But the product I received was nice and genuine. I bought it 3 months back and had a program last week. Used almost every day till now and am happy !

    The Nattuvangam were very small in size and the ropes tied behind were not thick enough. Not happy with the product at all. Too expensive too.

    I have purchased many items from Dance Costumes and Jewelry and I am very satisfied with their promptness and ability to do business with us. There have been a few times where the wrong orders have been shipped but they have been able to rectify it and send in the correct materials.

    Product and service is good. Shipping can be lower. Almost paid $9 shipping for a $19 product.
    Fast delivery, but I can wait couple of days if I can save couple of dollars!
