Very light weigh flower made from stem of lotus like plant called Shola Pith. The price of this item is high because the raw material is a plant stem.
Shola pith or Sholapith is a white spongy, dried stem from Aeschynomene species plant. It can be pressed and shaped into objects of art Very light weight and comfortable to use.This flower can be used for hair makeup for Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and other Indian classical dance forms. The total length of this is about 8 inches and width is about 5 inches.
This flower is placed below the hair bun.
